In this workshop, open to all levels, we will work on the fundamentals of the Ashtanga method. Breathing, use of bandhas, drishti and vinyasa will be thoroughly explained and incorporated into the practice of sun salutations, standing and seated postures of the primary series, as well as the finishing sequence. The asana practice will be followed by a session of pranayama and a short guided meditation before the final relaxation. This workshop is ideal for beginners who are looking to get started with the method as well as long time practitioners who wish to revisit the fundamentals and build a sustainable practice.
